Thermal, cooling and CHP

Our research and development look into cogeneration plants that produces both electricity and heat which contributes to a more flexible, environmentally compatible and cost-efficient energy system. There is also research regarding district heating, which is the most common form of heating in Sweden and utilizes resources that would otherwise be wasted.

The goal with our research is to increase knowledge and competence about the role that heat, cold and cogeneration has in the work on climate change and for a sustainable society – for example by paving the road for commercially viable solutions and future technology.
